ABOUT THE VENUE

I am really psyched to be performing at this venue because it is such a good fit for the people who enjoy what I do.  There were several venues on the shortlist of where I wanted to be after the Shark House burned, but I feel that the Black Cloud will genuinely be the best to fit the bill for many reasons.  Some of those reasons are:

The room is very large, with plenty of room for a crowd, and a generous dance floor.  The dining room and bar area is non-smoking, and there is a generously appointed outdoor smoking area for the smokers.

There is an overall comfortable, homey feel to the place!

They offer a full menu to dine from so you can come for dinner and karaoke on Sundays!

It appeals to everyone...young and old...family friendly and biker friendly!

It is very conveniently located.  It is on US-1 about 2 miles North of the intersection of US-1 and 100 in Bunnell, or about 4 miles South of Palm Coast Parkway!  The closest cross street from the residential area is Royal Palms, so it is easy to get to from the areas near Belle Terre by accessing any of the main drags to US-1!  No bridge worries!  When you see the sign on US-1 for the campground, just take the entry road West and you will see the saloon to your right, further down the dirt road PAST the AMVETS.  Amvets is on the left, WE are on the right in the BIG building!

The owners, management and staff appear to be committed to making everyone very happy there, and I am looking forward to having a long relationship with them.

Give it a try!  I hope to see all my friends from St. Augustine make the easy trek South as well, and it is an easy drive up US-1 from the Ormond/Daytona area as well!

THE PUB AT HALIFAX PLANTAION

*WHAT TO EXPECT:  A good time in a slightly more upscale environment.  A great bar, great staff and quality of food and drink is A-1!  Limited seating in the bar area, so if coming to sing, get there early... Rotations not bad, and become shorter as the night goes on, so if it gets busy, and you are sticking around, chances are good you will get to sing more often before closing time.  Great, fun crowd, appreciative audience!

*Located in the Clubhouse of Halifax Plantation.  Easy to find once you have been there once or twice.  There are 2 entrances to Halifax Plantation off of Old Dixie Highway (just off 95...after the Publix and 7-11).  You can go to either entrance and follow the signs to the clubhouse, but if you are directionally challenged, LOL, use the Monaghan Entrance.  Once you get to the clubhouse, go in the front door of the main entrance, and you will see the Pub straight ahead to the right.  For you Mapquest types, LOL, here is the actual address:  3400 Clubhouse Dr., Ormond Beach, FL  32174

If coming from 95, get off at the Old Dixie Highway exit (n of us-1, s of 100) and head east.  Pass Publix, 7-11, pass the first entrance (Acoma) and go to the second entrance on the right, Monaghan,  into Halifax Plantation.  Make first right  and that will lead you straight to the front door of the clubhouse!  Park and go in the main entrance.

*Full liquor bar.  Dinner available in the fine restaurant.  Restaurant closes earlier than the bar, so have dinner, then plan on coming out and partying with us.  Reservations for dinner are accepted, and encouraged.

*Proper casual dress please.  Not formal by any means, but no beach attire/tank tops please.

*Open to the public, not a private club!  No cover charges or admission fees like we used to do in the ballroom.

For more info, call 386 676-9600 x 324 (restaurant) or x 337 for The Pub
